On December 19 the staff of Vilnius SOS Children’s Village was given an official letter of thanks for their sincere care for children who are orphaned or abandoned by their families.

“We greatly rejoice that our efforts, our daily hard work for the sake of children has been appreciated, noticed and supported,” said Dainius Miežys, the director of the SOS Children’s Village after solemnity. “Altogether we would like to give thanks to Vilnius municipality and to Šeškinės eldership, in which territory we are located.  We also give thanks to all people of good will for understanding, cooperation and ongoing support. Indeed, together we can achieve a lot so that all children could be able to grow as worthy members of our society.”
