“Early Children Abandonment Prevention” project has been started in 2007 in Vilnius. Coordinative office is at Skroblu str. 15-115B, Vilnius. This project  is ment for families in Vilnius city and district. Project coordinator is Bozena Antanovic.

Families, which participate in these projects, fall into 3 groups with respect to the necessary help:

• Families regularly supported with foodstuffs and remedies of hygiene.
• Families offered various common activities.
• Families, assisted in occupation of children’s free time.

 In 2005 Alytus region started implementing a preventive project “Social Disjuncture Decreasing Program for Country Children of Problematic Families”.   This project accomplished in December 2008 and external project evaluation done.
