SOS Children’s Village Community was preparing thoroughly for this most beautiful spring celebration. All families were cleaning up, decorating houses, cooking delicious meals. Everybody gathered at the big yearly Easter Egg Rolling event. According to tradition, competitions were organized to choose the most beautiful, the biggest and the smallest of Easter eggs. The egg rolling contest was organized, and secrets of drawing the patterns on Easter eggs were shared. The mothers brought home-baked pies, and the smallest children were so happy to receive chocolate Easter bunnies brought by a generous Friend of the SOS Children’s Villages – Mr. Almantas. The celebration got even sweeter when the children received sweets presented by Kraft Food Lietuva and Nestle. We are truly grateful to all of our Friends!
