Vilnius SOS Children Village Children‘s Club started its new season on 29th of October. And this time it was especially joyful event: whereas thanks to Netherland Consul of Honour Herman De Lange Vilnius’ SOS children village received especially targeted valuable support  from "Austrian Culture and Economy in the Netherlands" Foundation for  club‘s renovation and started its new season renovated  essentially.

With Netherland Consul of Honour Herman De Lange initiative the 15300 LT support was collected in Vienna ball. The money was donated by Austrian Culture and Economy in the Netherlands" Foundation .Children’s club got new image: internet line and security system were installed, new soft furniture, the television set with home cinema, 2 stationary computers and 1 laptop, a new printer device. Children’s club turned to a mini house: a mini kitchen was compacted with all its equipment, new carpet and curtains were bought.

Everybody participated in club’s opening event:  children, SOS mothers, aunts, administrative staff and benefactor himself, Herman De Lange. Good luck wished were said during the event and as thanking gift children gave their drawing to Netherland’s Consul of Honour and Consul gave children a traditional Netherlands’ drawing on ceramic plate.

Herman De Lange appreciated and admitted club’s planned activities, their innovation and relevance. The further collaboration with "Austrian Culture and Economy in the Netherlands" Foundation and support, so needed for children’s club enlarging was discussed too. Consul promised his help in realizing this idea too.
