„Families‘ Social Services Day Center Establishment And Inter-institutional Collaboration Strengthening In Alytus City“. In Alytus there is a lack of effective social service solutions that would guarantee effective, complex social services such as individual, group, social, psychological counseling, children day care activities, social and life skills training, education for large, poor, and social risk group families with children. The Project aim: according to the monitoring and evaluation analysis our aim is to develop a day care centre in Alytus which would provide social services for families and would strengthen the inter-institutional collaboration of non-governmental and governmental organizations. Main activities: · Monitoring and evaluation analysis; · Development of day care centre material facilities and staff training; · Strengthening the inter-institutional collaboration of non-governmental and governmental organizations by organizing round tabale discusions and conference; · Spreading of information about the activities and services. It is planed that day care centre in Alytus will meet 50 % of needed social services demand for risk group families. Discussions and conference initiate positive networking of social services providers in Alytus. The information spread will help to The Association of SOS Children’s Villages in Lithuania to become known up to 80 % of social services providers in Alytus and beneficiaries of social services. |
