Have you ever seen a convention of Teddy Bears? Curiously enough, one took place just before Christmas in the SOS Children’s Village on Ozo street, Vilnius! More than 500 Teddy bears from Sweden took part in it. This was a greeting that Swedish children sent to our children, wishing them a warm and happy Christmas. The Unibaken Museum and SOS Children’s Villages in Sweden have an annual campaign, during which children can give their teddy bears away to other children. “This is a very happy event for everyone, including children who have an opportunity to share their toys with friends in other countries and us, coordinators of the event, who witness the good heart and generosity of children. The teddy bears are sure to be happy with the children who waited for them and love them so much,” said Louise König from the Swedish SOS Children’s Village, who actually brought 500 bears to Lithuanian children before Christmas. We are very grateful to her! |
